About the Author
Dr Gary Wood [BSc (Hons), PgC, PhD, FHEA] is a social psychologist, author, life coach, and broadcaster. Combining an engaging and accessible approach with a solid academic background he specializes in communicating psychological insight on all aspects of human social life to a wider audience. Increasingly the need for down-to-earth evidence-based expertise finds him working in diverse arenas from the press, to radio, television and theatre, to corporate consultancy, and of course, the lecture room. He has taught psychology to students at all levels of higher education, in several UK universities and colleges. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Dr Wood has also worked with the Learning and Skills council to promote to encourage adults back to learning.

He regularly appears on radio and television offering expert analysis and coaching tips, and is widely quoted in newspapers and magazines. He has featured on the Trisha Goddard (Channel Five) show as part of her 'Campaign for Change' team, on Big Brother's Little Brother and on Moneyspinners. he is a regular panellist on Five Live's The Late Show and has appeared on Woman' s Hour. He has been a featured agony uncle in eve magazine and is the life editor for health and style website, Mansized. Interesting and insigthful, way, way ahead of his time

The book is difficult to read. Never having been truly "edited", these pages came from a 17 year old boy who was engaged in what presumably was "autowriting". Phylos the Tibetan, was the source of the material, Frederick Spencer Oliver wrote these pages around the year of 1884. Many of his writings include early advanced civilizations, and their technology. Items such as Television were mentioned, though not by that name. The lad was truly prescient about many things. The writing style is at times what could best be described as a "shuffling gait". However, if you can get past the first hundred pages, it really does get better. The book really has 2 parts to it. It is the second part that REALLY stands out. Mysticism and the metaphysical are handled deftly. How a 17 year old boy living in the rough and rugged regions of Norther California came to such knowledge is striking in itself. Another reviewer, Linda Fournier gives this book very poor ratings, she is my cousin, and like her Frederick Spencer Oliver is my Great-Grandfather. He died at the age of 33 in 1899. Sure would have liked to have met him.

Important work which details Christian esoterism

I have studied this book since 1975, and have gained much understanding about esoteric Christian precepts as a result.
There are numerous technological descriptions which only hint at the extreme level of achievement during the Atlantean period. It took me some time to fall for the book, but it has held up to disputation on just about every level.
If the book were not true, it is an entertaining read, but I strongly suspect that the moral lessons the author is attempting to impart have considerable substance and import.
There is considerable weight of evidence, from sources outside the occult communities, which lends credibility to this book. It is not for everyone (yet).

I liked it so much I purchased another for a friend

I've been a Bruce Lee fan since I was a kid. But over the years there has been so much stuff on him that the market was simply saturated with many of the magazines and books simply repeating themselves. That said, I hadn't purchased publications on Bruce in 15 years until I ran across this book. I have to give it a thumbs up and four stars. First off, some of the articles in the book I had read before but what made it special is that Fiaz Rafiq went into the vaults and compiled some pretty good interviews. Interviews that are very informative and refreshing. They way he broke down the chapters and peoples place in Bruce's life was interesting. Wether your already a Bruce Lee fan or looking to learn a few things about him, this is a very good source. I liked it so much I purchased another for a friend.

I have read alot of Bruce Lee biographies. This one is awesome because it gives first hand accounts of the life and training of a legend. From original student and friends who where there, we get an insigtht to what bruce was thinking, how he evolved and alot of his training methods. would highly reccommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about the little dragon.

Best automotive book I've ever read

Automotive Electrical Systems

I use Halderman's book as the primary source in automotive electrical training in a classrom setting. ASE study guides are good for revue but presume knowledge of the subject. OEM training materials that I have used are either too basic (Mister Electron) or too specific (GM CS alternators).
